Common questions
Should our business move to Microsoft 365?
For almost every Australian small business the answer is yes: Microsoft 365 gives you business email, file storage, Teams and Office applications with enterprise-grade security for a predictable per-user monthly cost. The real question is whether it is set up properly, because most of its security is off by default.
Can you migrate our email without downtime?
Yes. Mail migrations are staged so the switch happens at a planned cutover, usually outside business hours, and mail keeps flowing to the old system until the moment it flips. We migrate from Google Workspace, old on-premises servers and other providers regularly.
Is our Microsoft 365 data backed up automatically?
No. Microsoft keeps the service running but explicitly makes protecting your data your responsibility, and recycle bins only hold deleted items for a limited window. A separate, restore-tested Microsoft 365 backup is what protects you from ransomware, account compromise and permanent deletion.
